The secret's out!
First of all, I need to extend a warm and effusive thank-you to all those who helped contribute to my final decision. It felt like an uphill battle at times, where I not only had to evaluate my past and present, but also my future and potential-future in figuring out whether this is the right path for me. However difficult my emotional struggle was, I am in awe of how selfless those in my life were during this time, putting aside their own personal needs in order to help me make a hefty life decision.
I will always be grateful to those who offered invaluable insight, and to those who took precious time out of their lives to physically sit down and map out my future.
But in the case you didn't know: I've left AB, and New York, and the United States - to move to Auckland, New Zealand! As a newly-minted immigrant, I am cognizant of the fact that I have it a lot easier than my parents did when they first arrived to NJIT from rural Taiwan, but the past few months, and I suspect, the next few will be too, have been tricky.
I am ready for it, and am excited to keep you posted. Watch this space!
